You just need to connect the controller to the new PS3 using a USB cable and then press the PS buton.
This will associate the controller with the new PS3. To reassign it back to the original PS3, repeat the above steps.
Removable storage devices that plug into the system or the controller. Save the game data on one and the plug it into the other system. You can use a USb memory device to copy the data from the PS3 to the USB then to the next PS3
you can select [New User] and login with the same login information as the person you want to transfer files from. then, dowload files, and if for instance, you want to get new map packs for cod without paying, go to PlayStation Store, click dowloads, and it will show all that user has ever downloaded from playstation store. there should be opotions, and click [DOWNLOAD] and you will succesfully have any files you want from somebody else. WARNING: to download information from credit card, or any files you have not gotten permission to download is probably gonna get you in trouble. just sayin:)

Yes, it is possible to swap HDDs between PS3 slims and PS3 fats. Simply remove the hard drive from both your PS3s and switch them. All your saved games, music, and movies should all be on your Slim PS3.
You can not do any of the three things. The Games section on the PS3 is not available to USB port
Yes and No depending what ps3 model you have! If it has 2 usb ports it can only play ps1 games. If you have the ps3 slim it can't play any ps2 games no matter how many GB it has. Any ps3 can play ps1 games! ps1 and ps2 games can be saved on to the ps3 As long as you have the memory card adapter. You can only save ps2 games on the 20gb and 60gb and 80gb which have 4 usb ports! You can save ps1 games on any ps3 even on the slim.

Yes the reason they came out with the PS3 was for better games so of course the PS3 game titles will be better for Metal Gear Solid on the PS3 than on the PS2
