There are many ways you can transfer data from one computer to another. These include using a USB data transfer cable. Other than this there are many options, some of which are listed below:

1. Transfer using an Ethernet cross cable for direct PC to PC connection.

2. Connect both new and old computer to same Ethernet network (wired or wireless). Even Bluetooth or Infrared can be used but data transfer speed is very slow.

3. Burn data on first machine through an internal or external CD/DVD burner and then read the burned CD/DVD on the new machine.

4. Use a USB memory drive an external hard disk drive for transferring data.

5. Hook up the hard disk from first computer to the new computer either internally or through an external hard disk enclosure to transfer data.

When you first start up a new Apple Mac you are offered the chance to transfer your stuff from an old Mac. If you do not do it when you first start the new computer you can run the Migration Assistant which can be found in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder. You will need either an Ethernet or FireWire cable (available from any computer/good electrical store) or both computers to be connected to the same wireless network to transfer between the two computers. If you have 10.5 (I think) or 10.6 on the old MacBook Pro you can use Migration Assistant in the Applications/ Utility folder to transfer everything over.

( I know 10.4 is not compatible with 10.7 Migration assistant, not sure about 10.5)

Be aware tho, it's not perfect, it seems it either works great or is a nightmare. There may be permissions problems, if you have a backup machine then it may have issues with the next backup, etc.

I usually just copy over my user stuff manually and just reinstall the applications to make sure they are "fresh" and will work for sure on the new machine. It takes awhile longer but I know they will work for sure.

Is MacBook Pro 13.3 the same as MacBook Pro 13?

This is entirely dependent on the year of the MacBook. The new 13" MacBook Pro Retina keyboard is not the same as the regular 13" MacBook Pro. You also wouldn't be able to interchange a keyboard from the older 13" MacBook models (white MacBooks) with a recent 13" model.

New MacBook bother?

If you are asking about the "MacBook Pro" and NOT the "MacBook Bro", and the question is asking if there will be a new release of a newer model soon... Then, the answer is no-one knows but the Apple employees. If a new MacBook Pro model is released, it will simply just be upgrading the processing speed which is unnecessary for everyday users. You should only be worried about processing speed and upgrades if you are working in the arts, media and entertainment industry.
