Answer
There are many ways you can transfer data from one computer to another. These include using a USB data transfer cable. Other than this there are many options, some of which are listed below:
1. Transfer using an Ethernet cross cable for direct PC to PC connection.
2. Connect both new and old computer to same Ethernet network (wired or wireless). Even Bluetooth or Infrared can be used but data transfer speed is very slow.
3. Burn data on first machine through an internal or external CD/DVD burner and then read the burned CD/DVD on the new machine.
4. Use a USB memory drive an external hard disk drive for transferring data.
5. Hook up the hard disk from first computer to the new computer either internally or through an external hard disk enclosure to transfer data.

When you first start up a new Apple Mac you are offered the chance to transfer your stuff from an old Mac. If you do not do it when you first start the new computer you can run the Migration Assistant which can be found in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder. You will need either an Ethernet or FireWire cable (available from any computer/good electrical store) or both computers to be connected to the same wireless network to transfer between the two computers. (See links below)
If you have 10.5 (I think) or 10.6 on the old MacBook Pro you can use Migration Assistant in the Applications/ Utility folder to transfer everything over.
( I know 10.4 is not compatible with 10.7 Migration assistant, not sure about 10.5)
Be aware tho, it's not perfect, it seems it either works great or is a nightmare. There may be permissions problems, if you have a backup machine then it may have issues with the next backup, etc.
I usually just copy over my user stuff manually and just reinstall the applications to make sure they are "fresh" and will work for sure on the new machine. It takes awhile longer but I know they will work for sure.
When you get your new Mac you can use the Migration assistant to transfer everything to your new computer. You will need a firewire cable to do this
No! The processor is soldered with the logicboard/motherboard. they only way to change/upgrade the processor of a macbook pro is to do it when you purhase new macbook pro. hope this helps...
If you have a new macbook pro with the metal body case, no. If you have an older macbook pro, you can use a coin to turn the lock on the bottom of the laptop to remove the battery.
No.
The Apple Macbook pro is the newest. This Apple Macbook cost 855 dollars.
New Macs all have the same software installed. If you are referring to Garageband (See links below) then yes both the MacBook and MacBook Pro have it installed.
This is entirely dependent on the year of the MacBook. The new 13" MacBook Pro Retina keyboard is not the same as the regular 13" MacBook Pro. You also wouldn't be able to interchange a keyboard from the older 13" MacBook models (white MacBooks) with a recent 13" model.
Noplace.
The Intel Core i5 offered in a new MacBook Air is more than sufficient for daily use. A MacBook Pro is better suited for heavy design or developing use.
No
First thing you do is save your files to discs. Next, deauthorize you account from your old computer. Then, import your files to your new MacBook. Finally, authorize your account from your new MacBook.
If you already have a laptop get an Ipad 2 but if you dont i would say get a Macbook Pro just becuase you can do more work unless you wont to buy all the programs for the ipad2
If you are asking about the "MacBook Pro" and NOT the "MacBook Bro", and the question is asking if there will be a new release of a newer model soon... Then, the answer is no-one knows but the Apple employees. If a new MacBook Pro model is released, it will simply just be upgrading the processing speed which is unnecessary for everyday users. You should only be worried about processing speed and upgrades if you are working in the arts, media and entertainment industry.
