∙ 14y agoCarry your prescription and have your doctor's contact details on hand (they should be on the script anyway). However, if you enter a state or country that does not recognise medical marijuana as legal, you will be prosecuted for possession and possibly intent of sale as well.

∙ 8y agoYou don't. If caught you will NOT be protected by US laws and can face some very severe consequences from the country where you are arrested. In many countries there is no due process, severe prison time, no protection as an American. In places in the world people arrested with drug charges receive death sentence.

∙ 8y agoIn the United States airports and airplanes all fall under federal law and all forms of marijuana are considered illegal. If found in possession you risk being detained, arrested and prosecuted. Never travel internationally with marijuana. Flying within a state in possession of marijuana (including medical marijuana) depends on the laws in that state.
