it all depends on what kind of dog you have. in general you must feed it every day. feed a puppy twice a day, unless you want it chubby, then feed it 3 times a day. adult dogs should be fed about once or twice a day depending on its size. keep a large bowl of water (not too much, you don't want your puppy to drown in it) all day and change it about once a day. you must take it on regular walks every day. smaller breeds wont require as much exercise as larger breeds will. most importantly remember to give it lots of love and patience because YOU are the one who chose to keep it. i suggest you visit petplace.com hope it helped and good luck
If i am treat-training, i use long sticks of dog treat broken up into small chunks. Dry food, packet dog treats and shredded meat (chicken) are ok too in small amounts. If your talking about a one off, rawhide and bones can be a good option.
Veterinarians care for dogs the same way they care for all other animals presented to them: through careful physical examinations, diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments.

As many as you can take care of
There is no definitive answer. You are hoarding when you: 1. Have too many animals. 2. Can't take care of them. If you have many animals but are taking care of them you are not a hoarder. Some people have 6 dogs and take care of them perfectly fine.
