Usually with most Call of Duty games now there is an option to filter content, like with Modern Warfare 3; new players are given the option to say, "No, I will not be offended by the content," or "Yes, please filter offensive content" when the prompt comes up. If there is not this option when first playing the game, then the game does not have this option, most likely.

It is also recommended that for those who are offended by gore, violence, drugs, profanity, etc. to look at the ESRB rating of a videogame (bottom left-hand corner) and the reasons for it. Example: "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3; Rated 'M' for 'Mature (17+)' because of *Blood and Gore, *Drug Reference, *Intense Violence, and *Strong Language."
