System Preferences/ Speech
To turn off the Mac's speech open System Preferences and then select the Universal Access section. In the Seeing options make sure Voice Over is switched Off. There are also options in the Speech section of System Preferences which should be turned off,
You turn off the VoiceOver function from the Universal Access section of System Preferences or use the Command key (cmd) and Fn 5 keys shortcut.
If you have a Mac (not entirely sure which types), but I know it works on Mac Book Pro. If you push control; option; command and 8 at the same time it will turn the screen negative. Do the same thing again to turn it off. Try it, It's cool!!
To turn off the pop-up blocker In the Mac's Safari browser de-select Block Pop-up Windows from the Safari menu or press the Shift, Command and K keys.

As far as I know, there is not any command or option to turn animals off. I always wanted something to turn animals off, too.
To turn off the negative effect on your Mac Book Pro (turning the screen black, white, and a few other colors), hold the command key, the alt/option key, and the ctrl key (all three in a row), and then hit the 8 key (the key above the keyboard, not on the number key pad).
