rm -rf /usr/local/nagios /etc/init.d/nagios
Did you install the conf in apache too? If so then remove that and restart apache.
Did you already delete the install directory (where you unpacked the tar.gz file)? If not, rm -rf /path/to/your/install/directory
Did you remove the tar.gz file? If not, rm -f /path/to/your/nagios.tar.gz
Nagios was created on 1999-03-14.
Nagios was designed to run on Linux; however, it also runs on other Unix variants.
"The top six network monitoring companies are Nagios, Cacti, Top, Zabbix, and Munin, IMFirewall. Nagios was number one. You should try Nagios. It is rated very highly."
From what I can see, there haven't been any recent complaints against Nagios filed with the Better Business Bureau. From what I can find, Nagios is actually an acceptable software company, and the word itself has Greek origins, meaning "Saint."
Reviews of network monitoring software seem to rate Nagios the highest by far. Check out the reviews at www.thegeekstuff.com. None of the other options get reviews even close to Nagios.
