I have a 93 prism and I used a coat hanger to open my locked door a few weeks ago. Unbend and straighten the hanger leaving a hooked end. Slide it between the window and the door, between the stripping, so that the hook end is now inside the door. I had success by hooking the lock rod that unlocks the door. I was near the door handle when I popped it.

If the inside door handle won't unlock after using a coat hanger, it may be due to a misalignment or internal damage to the locking mechanism. Here is another option. Get two flat head screwdrivers and a coat hanger. Slide one screwdriver between the metal door frame and the rubber weather stripping and pull back on the screwdriver to make a gap between the two. Then insert the other screwdriver into the gap and do the same. This should give you enough space to slide the coat hanger into the car and use it to push on the unlock button on the door panel. With great difficulty. Coat hangers are far too thick and large to pick a lock with; they simply won't fit in, let alone be able to meet the pins. Neither is there any way of using one to push the lock back into the door, since they just won't be able to get in the right position for it.
