The way to get the other islands in fire red OR leaf green is simple. although i had some trouble with it too. After the i think 7th badge, the fire gym, someone will take you to one island. from there you gan get to island 1,2 & 3. rescue lostle from three island and get the meteorite from her dad in the game corner on two island. deliver this to bill and celio in the Pokemon center at one island. you will go home. get the eighth badge in pewter city. beat the elite four with 60 Pokemon in your pokedex or more. then go back to vermilion city and head down to the boat. this i think you already know by know. get the ruby on one island and deliver this to celio. he will give a pass for all the islands. now you can get to all the islands. save lorelie from four island and get selphy out of lost cave using L U D D R L D R U. now go to six island and go to the dotted hole enterance, use cut. find the Sapphire. go beat team rocket on five island. collect the Sapphire and deliver it to celio. now you can trade to ruby, Sapphire, and emerald as well you can catch mewtwo and get more items on two island.

Simply put it IS HARD! it cant be obtained by normal means. It requires having a mystery gift for starters. Next youll have to either find the Pokemon America tour (not in game in REAL LIFE) and hook up there to download a ticket that will pop up in the game and allow you to go to either of the islands. The only other option is to use some sort of cheating device wheather it be xplode GameShark whatever strikes you fancy. Even then it requires a good deal of code usage and labor! it's not worth it. (Nintendo makes it very hard to cheat in their games!)
