There is a plastic drain plug with protruding tabs on the bottom left side of radiator(driver's side)... NOT on the back of the radiator as others have INCORRECTLY stated. You will need a 3/4 socket. Go up from the bottom of the car, there is an access hole through the lower splash shield.
It is spring loaaded so take a wrench/ratchet and insert it into the square hole and pull against the spring and then you can get the belt off.

If you have an automatic transaxle, there isn't a drain plug. You remove the fluid by removing the bottom pan on the transaxle, or taking it to a shop that has a vacuum pump to pump the fluid out through the fill hole.
To change Volvo oil filled 940 engine mount, push a container under the oil drain plug. Unscrew drain unplug and remove the cap from the oil filler hole at the top of the engine. Unscrew oil filter to drain. Then change oil.
