To get your Safeway card number (if you no longer have your card), call Safeway's Customer Service at 1-877-SAFEWAY. A Safeway representative will look up your account and give you your card number. You also can update any information that's in your record, such as if you've changed your phone number or address. Then be sure to use the phone number that Safeway has for you when you pay at the store. To sign up for Safeway's school rebate program (it's run by the eScrip company) you first must have your Safeway card number. Once you have that card number, you can go to www.escrip.com (click on About the Program and Sign Up) and select up to three schools to benefit from your shopping by linking your card number.
Fill out a new application in store and select replacement card, the new card will be linked to your exisitng account.
You can either look on your receipt or ask a clerk to check your account for you by giving them your card number or phone number. You might also be able to find out on safeway.com.
