You just take the curler(you can take an optional step and warm it with a blow dryer) and open the clamps and but your eyelashes in it and press down for 10 sec. and makeup sure that you open the claps before you go on to the other eye. And by the way make sure you use it before applying mascara because if you don't the clamps will stick to the eyelashes and pull them out.:)
