How do you play with a friend in counter strike source?

It is really easy just like a friend of my mine called Rami Hb told me, you go to a cd's store and you buy a cd of counterstrike then you come home and you open your laptop/desktop and you insert that disk in it and then you install then press next,next, and finish then you open it up and then your press on customize, you type in your name and then you pick your stamp/spray then you goo and play online. and here comes the thing if you are playing as a Counter strike ( The police ) the first round you should keep the free pistol cuz it is good, fast to shoot and it actually good at aiming not as good as degal but you don't have enough credit to buy deagle and load it. when you want to shoot at your enemies try to shot and aim at the head you can crouch ( using the Ctrl button ) to have a steady aim or by standing. then when you win the first round try to not buy anything for the 2nd round,and try to kill someone in 2nd round because on the 3rf round you will need all the money you need to buy armor, weapon, nades well with a CS weapon B 43 ( M16 ) is the best weapon good shooting with good distance and you can shoot throw walls with it... if you are playing a game with foot steps on make sure when you see an enemy but he doesn't see you walk with shift.Shift reduces the walking noise thus you have a better opportunity of killing him. when you make sure that you can kill someone without counting on the + ( the aiming ) in the middle of the gun then you can try the sniper ( B 46) and with a little practice you can be a pro

first get a steam account in should come with ur disk then click find server then pick a server and ur done

After clicking "Find Servers", go to the "Friends" tab. This will show you which server your friend is in.

Just start the server normally.

Other people on your network can join you under the "LAN" tab when looking for your server.
