Minesweeper can be beaten with logic, by figuring out which squares are safe to reveal, and which squares must have bombs in them. You should look at the Strategy and Hints section of the Help for more tips.

To beat minesweeper you need to have uncovered all spaces on the board EXCEPT for the ones which contains mines the numbers help you by telling you how many mines are in that area.Hope i helped!!

You win a game of Minesweeper by turning over all the squares that do not have mines in them. Every square you open reveals a number. The number refers to how many mines are next to that square. If the number is a 1, there is 1 mine next to that square. Finding out where mines are can be determined by using multiple squares with numbers on them to predict where a mine lies.

In Minesweeper, some mines are scattered invisibly in random cells of a grid. The Windows Minesweeper's Beginner level has 10 mines in a 9 by 9 grid.

When you uncover a cell, it either contains a mine, a number or nothing. If it's a mine, you lose the game. Numbers indicate the number of mines in adjacent cells, counting diagonals.

If there is a 1 in a cell that is only touching one covered cell, then you can deduce that this cell hides a mine. It can usually be marked to indicate this.

You win the game when you uncover every cell except the mines.

that is if you have numbers mixed like 2-3-2 it means that the 3 squares row next it is full of mines! (if 2-3-2 is shown in a column that means that the 3 squares in a column next to 2-3-2 are full of mines

Minesweeper contains an area of squares (usually blue) that has hidden mines in some squares.

Objective: Clear all of the blue squares without touching a mine.

How to Win: All blue squares are cleared.

Rule 1 - Touching a mine will kill you and then, you'll have to restart, quit, or play a new game.

Rule 2 - Once you click a square, the time will start at the bottom left corner. On the bottom right side corner, it shows the number of mines on the board.

Rule 3 - The number in each block tells you how many mines are in the surrounding 8 blocks.

Tip 1: Sometimes, when pushing a square directly in the middle, it clears a great space and you don't have to worry about a mine.

Tip 2: When you find the number pattern of 1-2-1, you should always click the block beside the 2 and mark the other 2 as mines.

Tip 3: If you find a number 3 which is touching only 3 blocks, then all 3 are mines.

Tip 4: If a 1 is only touching a corner block, it is a mine. If the next number is a 1 and touching the corner and the next block after the corner, then that first one from the corner would be safe to click.

Tip 4: If you uncover a number and you it is already touching the indicated number of mines, then uncover the other blocks it touches. For instance, if you see then number two, and it is touching two you marked, then clear the rest touching that two.

Tip 5: If you have the 1-1 formation of numbers beside of blocks, then the 3rd block in should always be safe to clear.

Tip 6: Suppose you have 4 blocks in the formation of a "seven" shape. Suppose the part of the "7" that sticks out at the top is known to be a mine. In the inside corner, there is a 2, and there is a one below that. Now you know the block beside the 2 and the block beside the 1 can only have one mine. That means the corner is free to click. When computing in your head, if you mark 2 with question marks, you should generally consider both like they are a single mine.
