Well, do you know how to write numbers? I'll give you the whole thing, then, to be sure. You would say "(watashi wa) ~-nen desu" ([I am] ~ years old.) to begin with.

Here are the numbers:

1-　一

2-　二

3-　三

4-　四

5-　五

6-　六

7-　七

8-　八

9-　九

10-　十

To say you are 22 (like me) you would write "2 10 2" or ni-juu ni. With 11-19 you would write "10 1" or juu ichi for 11 and so on. 年, by the way is the kanji for nen (year).

"I am 22 years old." "ni-juu ni-nen desu" "二十二年です。"
