During the evolution of the horse they started out as small foxed sized browsers with four toes and lived in forests. As the earth changed and gave way to coarse grass and open plains the horse began to change into a faster single toed mono-gastric animal. The hoof allowed the horse to move much more quickly to escape predators.
What do mountainn zebras have on their hooves ?? please help !!
Hooves. Pretty much all the words used for horses are applicable to zebras.
Zebras Zebras
Most zebra's hooves are black.
Zebras cannot be fully tamed and will likely fight you in any attempt to shoe them. Zebras typically have stronger hooves than horses and do just fine without shoes so long as their hooves are maintained.
both live on land mammals breathe by lungs herbivore have hooves
Hooves.
Yes, zebras do have knuckles on their legs. Knuckles are formed by the joint between two bones, providing flexibility and movement in the limb. Zebras use their knuckles to support their weight and move efficiently while running.
Some animals, like horses donkeys and zebras, only have one Hoof on each foot. Then there are goats, sheep, cows etc that have two(big) hooves on each foot - a split or cloven Hoof.
Camels, giraffes, antelope, zebras and rhinos are all animals that one might find at a zoo and they all have hooves.
(1 zebra) x (4 legs/zebra) x (1 hoof/leg) = 4 hooves.4/2 = 2 with no remainder, so 4 is an even number.The answer to the question is: Yes, mathematically as well as demonstrably.
Horses have hooves, as do Cows, Goats, deer, Cattle and Pigs - though they have a "Cloven Hoof" which is made of two hooves stuck together on each foot (these animals can also suffer from foot and mouth) Cammels, Giraffes and Bison also have hooves
