when you die ur hair a different color you need to keep going in every 2-4 months to keep your roots (or in otherwords ur natural hair color) from showing...
trust me my natural hair color is a very dark shade of brown and i die my hair a lot to keep my natural hair color for showing

well, you could have it slightly longer than hayley's? after or before straightening your hair, put a hair gel in it that is made to keep your hair straight all day or if you want a bit of wave to, pleat it the night before then go to bed and you wake up with really nice waves and they stay in all day with a bit of hairspray cos i have hair like yours and it works nicely for me (:
