In Aotearoa, New Zealand we celebrate the following national holidays:

1-2 January - New Year

6 February - Waitangi Day (to celebrate signing of a treaty in 1840)

March/April - Easter long weekend

25 April - ANZAC day (a war memorial holiday)

early June - Queens Birthday long weekend

late October - Labour day long weekend

25-26 December - Christmas

plus various regional holidays such as Auckland Anniversary Weekend in late January

Matariki, or Maori New Year, a moveable holiday celebrated in May-July is not yet a national holiday, but it may be soon.
Christmas Day, Dec 25, is one religious holiday, as are Easter Friday and Monday. Anzac Day, Apr 25 is a Memorial Day to the fallen in war. Though the provinces have had no real existence since the late 1800s, the Provincial Anniversary is still celebrated. Labour Day, Oct 25, rounds out the statutory holidays. But, the day following Christmas Day, and that following New Year's Day are also usually celebrated, as is New Year's Day itself. And the Queen's birthday is celebrated on June 5 (but usually monday-ized) though her actual birthday is a couple of months earlier.

Waitangi day, the national day of New Zealand, commemorating the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, the document that established the nation of New Zealand, is celebrated on February the sixth.
