I know this story off by heart and this is how it ends:
The guy who had been sent home due to injury to his eyes, had temperary memory loss. Meanwhile, Sara was being blamed for theft by Miss Minchin and was going to be taken away by the police. Sara then balances a plank of wood from the balcony to next door and crawls accross, almost falling, and running into the house. She runs into what she thinks is an empty room while everyone is looking for her. The guy, whos eyes are now healed, begins talking to her and as she looks up she reconises the man as her-as she says it- 'papa'. Because of his memory loss he doesn't recognise her. She is dragged out of the house by the police and is about to be put into the back of the cart when he runs out. By Sara calling him papa, it joggs a memory and he remembers everything. Sara's dad claims her and the other servent girl and they move away. Saras doll, whom she adores, is given to one of the younger children and the mean girl cracks and finaly hugs sara.

∙ 12y agoThe movie ends with the frog & princess getting married by the voodoo lady in the bayou & they both turn back into humans. They build the restaurant & it ends in song.
