Actually, you've got it all wrong. Edward kills Victoria and Seth kills Riley. Victoria enters the clearing with Riley. Seth rips Riley to shreds and throws them all around the forest, I guess. That's why Seth and Edward have to collect the pieces of the bodies of Vic. and Riley. Anyway, Edward however, never ever let Victoria or Riley-though Riley was more the objective of Seth-touch Bella at all. Bella stands there in shock, 2/3rds of the way through the battle of Seth+Edward V.S. Victoria+Riley Bella grabs a rock and, like the third wife-a Quileute tale about a wife of a shapeshifter, the same as the modern day pack, who uses her own blood to kill a vengeful vampire-, and wants to make herself bleed enough to distract Victoria-who drinks human blood- and Riley-a year old who can't control himself near human blood, he can't control himself well yet.
