No, zuko never found his mother. They left the series at an end where you must imagine where she is and how zuko found her. It may be possible that there will be a spinoff series, but has not been mentioned. However, there will be an action film where actors will potray the characters through the 3 books. This will be released on July 6 of 2010

I don't want to give away too much, but Zuko's mom wasn't killed by the Fire Lord... She may be more alive then Zuko thinks...

i think that, because of what Ozai said to Zuko during the eclipse, she killed Firelord Azulon in order to save Zuko, this would explain why is was banished.
