How does a 4x4x4 rubik's cube stay together?

Well when the molecules are cold they stay close together and move slower but when they are hot they move around really fast and are farther apart so the ice cube molecules will probably be heating up so the molecules will start to move faster :D hope this helps! -From some one who is learning all about this in science class :)
