It is just heating elements that wrap the engine and when pluged in it keeps the block warm as well as the oil and water
this truck is not equipped with that feature and is not a option
Any NAPA parts store can supply a block heater that will keep your diesel toasty.
somewhere on the engine block i suspect
Isuzu NPR is a truck. It takes diesel fuel and is a low cab forward truck.
I have 2001 Isuzu NPR diesel, I ran empty diesel. Please tell me how I start the engine back? Thanks
it really dosent matter, just be sure to unplug it before you drive off.
If equipped, it is on the passenger side. It starts behind the oil filter. It was an add on option when the truck was built.
if you can not find it on the passanger side of under truck behind bumper you will have to go to a ford dealer and order a cord for it they quit putting cords on all the trucks around that time but the heater is in the block on all of them. some dealers did not spec the truck with the winter packege.
I've got a 2006 F-350 KR and I do it all the time ! I don't believe it is connected to the truck circuit ! I wouldn't leave it on there after the truck has started ! ! ! !
Generally, the Block Heater cord is tucked into the back of the bumper - More toward the passenger side of the truck. If your truck is equipped with one, that is. Although, I can't see why anyone would NOT order it - Considering it's only a $35 option.
block heater is located on the side at the rear end of the oil cooler, follow your plug in wire and it will go right to it. easiest to see if you get under truck behind front driver wheel
The block heater plug on a 4300 International truck is located just behind the battery. A heavy duty outdoor cord will be necessary to plug the block heater into an electrical outlet.
