Dragon eyes work just the human counterpart. Dragons have colour vision, and can see farther than most Birds of Prey. Chinese dragons can see for many li or miles and European Dragons can see that distance if not farther. However, the type of sight mechanism depends on the dragon. Some dragons are also nocturnal and therefore are equipped with night-vision capabilities or infrared vision, which picks up infrared rays.

Dragons also have a cranial organ similar to the rostral organ in Coelacant fish by which they can detect the electric fields produced by active muscles. It was in this means that Smaug was awaken by Bilbo Baggins intruding into his lair.

If you're asking in general, with eyes, of course. But if you're asking about vision quality, most dragons have eyesight at least two times as good as a hawk's. European dragons can see even better at double that.

It has been scientifically proven that Bearded Dragons see exactly like a human does. They see all colours but they catch movement a lot quicker then we do.
