A Fiberizer we use as secondaire pulper in the recycle paper pulper.
The borax and boric acid treatment of cellulose fiber insulation discourages attack by insects. It's a stomach poison and it affects their metabolism while being largely innocuous to people. A link is provided to the Wikipedia article on boric acid and its effect on insects.

I'm not really sure. But since lead is used in the process of making paper money to keep the printing from fading...I'd pass on trying to "digest" it. Paper is mainly made of cellulose fibers and human body can't digest cellulose fiber.
Paper is made of cellulose fiber. In pure form cellulose fiber is colorless but due to the presence of residual lignin, pulp obtained from wood is brown. Pulp is made white by removing and/or modifying lignin and this process is called bleaching.

Blown in insulation is also known as cellulose insulation. This type of insulation is used to educe noise and minimize heat loss. It is made from plant fiber.
Paper has cellulose fiber but human body can't digest cellulose fiber.

This question cannot be answered without knowing the specific brand of insulation. There is no such thing as a generic coverage chart for any loose fill insulation--cellulose or fiber glass. For cellulose, R-factors range from about 3.7 to about 3.9; density ranges from about 1.3 pcf to 1.8 pcf, and bag sizes range from 18 pounds to 40 pounds. All these factors affect coverage.
Rayon and Modal are cellulose fibers.

Wood fiber insulation is cheap and relatively easy to install. However, it does not have the same insulation factor level as fiberglass insulation.
