A molecule is a bunch of atoms combined.

An atom is the smallest part of an element, that you can get without splitting the nucleus of the atom.

Molecules are made of more two or more atoms joined together. The atoms can be same or different elements. A single molecule is the smallest piece of matter you can have without changing its properties.

Example: O2(oxygen we breathe)and O3(Ozone) are different molecules with different properties but are all made of oxygen atoms.

Each atom is a pure form of an element. Molecules are combinations of atoms and as so can be a mixture of distinct elements.
