A skydiver experiences two forces when in freefall. One is gravity, which he has no control over. The other is air resistance, a type of fluid friction. By changing the position of his dive relative to his direction, a skydiver can fall faster or slower, spin, etc. By spreading his limbs out and assuming a laying position in the air he would produce the most air resistance and slow his descent. At some point, however, the parachute (also causing air resistance) would be deployed and slow him further.
it slow s us down so we dont too fast past where we want to go.
friction slows us down if it wasn't for friction everyone would be slipping everywhere
we need friction because if there were no friction the objects around us will slide
friction helps us to move
wheels overcome friction

Gravity
These came of of the top of my head so here it is it can be used to produce heat or to slow things down in the air. Hope this helped:)
Same as on a car. Applying the brakes means that something stationary is pressed against a moving part. This generates friction, which turns speed into heat.It produces friction, because when the brake touches the rim of the bicycle, the bicycle slows down. (thats called friction) And after a while the bicycle stopsA stationary part is brought into contact with a rotating part. The resulting friction slows the bike down.

When a car begins to brake, the car is affected by many different forces. These include:Friction - When the brake pedal is pressed, the car's wheels act against the road, causing friction to slow down the carGravity - When driving, gravity is pulling the car down, therefore pressing the car against the ground, making us slow down slightlyAir resistance - When any object goes through air particles, they are slowed down slightly because of the extra force required to push past.

Friction helps us by letting us grasp things so they won't fall. Without friction you can expect to have more car accidents, and a lot of random people falling because friction helps us walk. Also airplanes in a way use friction to fly. no slaking in class
A little maybe.Because of the air cross the undynamic surface.
