A cultural conflict is a conflict between a person or persons religious background, ethnicity, and or beliefs.

For example: There is a christian and an atheist sitting in a park and they begin to discuss their beliefs. A conflict could then arise between the two people with different religious beliefs because of their cultural backgrounds thus being a cultural conflict.

While it had cultural dimensions, such as national identity and historical grievances, the war itself was driven more by geopolitical and economic factors than by cultural differences. Thus, while elements of cultural conflict were present, they were not the primary motivation behind the war.

How do cultural political differences lead to conflict?

Cultural political differences can lead to conflict when varying beliefs, values, and practices clash, creating misunderstandings and distrust among groups. These differences often manifest in issues such as governance, human rights, and social norms, prompting groups to assert their identities and interests. When one group's cultural norms are perceived as threatened or disrespected, it can escalate tensions and result in conflict.
