it breaks the fibres apart a little but not so much that it falls apart
no, it deposits oil on the clothes, making them soft...but making them easier to get dirty. Try an extra wash rinse instead..the clothes will be softer when you get them dry.
I'm not sure about what they do mixed together but its a good chance that the vinegar would decrease the effectiveness of the chemical softener. i do know, however, that vinegar is a natural fabric softer. its not going to make your clothes as soft as a chemical one would, but its better than nothing. i would just use the vinegar by its self on whatever you are trying to wash, until you know for sure if you can mix the two, especially since it will give you a mild softening effect anyway.
It makes some suds but, I would not use it for anything but clothes. Unless you mix it with water in a bottle well enough and use it as a fabric odor eliminator. Mixing it with water keeps the fabric from having downy spots on them.
Yes it can
Yes, Oxalic acid can be used to dye several colors of clothes. This acid is clear so it can be mixed to make any color. This was supposed to be about describing a medical term not about clothing.
Cationic softener is just another name for the items known as fabric softeners. They are used to soften the feel, make clothes smell fresher, and get rid of static cling in fabrics.
