Gravity is the force responsible for pulling the water down to Earth, and the water in turn turns the wheel. So in effect gravity is doing all the work.
A wheel is put in the water that makes it turn, generating electricity.
If the wheel is balanced, then gravity produces no net torque on the wheel. The weight of every tinybit of the wheel on one side of the pivot ... trying to make the wheel turn one way ... is exactly matchedby the weight of a tiny bit of the wheel on the other side of the pivot, trying to make the wheel turnthe other way.A balanced wheel freely suspended in the field of earth's gravitation doesn't spontaneously begin to spin.
Because - through the use of gears, the load is spread. For example, every turn of the main pulley wheel only turns the anchor wheel one SIXTH.
Water can turn a wheel, which turns an axle connected to an electrical generator which generates electricity by moving magnets so that their magnetic fields pass through wires.
it is the part to turn the gear round and round
gravity and water. Gravity pulls water down through the turbines.
its centre of gravity is not centred. or it has a gear mechanism which controls its movement
Elephants. Obviously...?
A wheel is connected to the rudder, when you turn the wheel it turns the rudder. The water flowing by the boat is pushed in either direction by the orientation of the rudder.
A wheel is put in the water that makes it turn, generating electricity.
Water on the surface of the moon will rapidly turn to water vapor as there is no atmospheric pressure on the moon. The vapor will then escape the moon's gravity which is much weaker than the gravity on Earth.
Don't turn the wheel.
The water freezes and the wheel will become stiff and hard to turn.
the belts on your car get wet

You don't, all you do is turn the right valve and then the left valve and then pull the lever to make the water wheel turn.
A Turn of the Wheel was created in 1989.
