Either conduction, convection, or radiation.
Conduction is when the two (or more) objects transfer heat through physical contact (this is how your stove works to heat a pot).
Convection is the transfer of heat through liquid or gas by moving heated particles (this is how your oven works).
Radiation is when heat is transfered through waves or particles (this is how the sun heats the earth).
Heat moves from one medium to another through the processes of conduction or convection. Conduction is heat transfer from molecular agitation without motion of the material as a whole. Convection is heat transfer by mass motion of a fluid away from the source of heat.
Heat moves by three processes generally: Conduction, Radiation and Convection. However, in fluids (even gases are called fluids) the main source of heat transfer is by convection - either natural or forced. It doesn't mean that other two forms of heat transfer are totally absent. The proportion of heat transferred in fluids by convection is highest. If we leave the fluid alone to the mercy of gravity and still atmosphere, the density gradients established by heated and unheated parts of fluid cause their molecules to move (cooler ones sink and hotter (and hence lighter) ones move up thereby causing a mixing action. If we deliberately churn the fluid by any means, the heat transfer rate goes up substantially - again by convection - this time by forced convection Heat is transmitted through a fluid by means of a process called 'Convenction'. In this, the molecules are actually displaced from their position during the process of heat transfer. The heated molecules move and make space for other molecules to get heated.
Heat can travel through conduction, which is when two objects directly touch. Heat can also travel through convection, which occurs in fluids. The hotter, less dense material rises and the colder, denser material sinks due to gravity, which transfers heat.
It moves from hot to cold.
Cold is not a thing, it is actually the absence of heat.
All heat is is vibrations of particles so, something that is "hot" is just vibrating much quicker than something that is "cold"
by passing a heat wave from that place to the other place therefore making the heat transfered to the other place
It doesn't idiots! Heat energy transfer form hot to cold...there's no such thing. Heat is how much energy is in something. Energy doesn't get cold. Cold is a lack of energy.
cold to hot
The law says that energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. It can only be transferred from one form to another.... And energy always from higher potential to lower potential... Since hotter object is at high potential and cooler object at lower potential, the heat energy will flow from hotter to cooler object.
one complete circular movement made by one object around another object
If heat can flow between them, then heat flows from the hot one to the cold one. The temperature of the hot object falls, and the temperature of the cold object rises. What drives the transfer of heat is the difference in temperature, so as soon as both objects are at the same temperature, the process stops, and no more heat is transferred.
Light can travel through undistorted
Heat is a measure of how quickly the atoms of an object are vibrating. When a warm object touches a cooler object, the vibrating atoms from the warm object cause the atoms of the cooler object to vibrate more, and thus become warmer. There are three main ways of heat transfer conduction convection and radiation.
The only other one that I can think of is that heat can travel by mass transfer, which put simply is moving a hot object from one place to another.
Heat energy
one of the laws of thermodynamics states that heat is transferred from a hotter object to a cooler object. so the warmth of one object affects another object by transferring the heat towards that object.
Convective heat
Heat normally flows from a warm object to a cool object
When one object is hotter than another, heat will be transferred from the hot object to the cold object. The hot object will cool down, and the cold object will heat up, until they are the same temperature.
Temperatue- It is the degree of hotness or coldness of an object. Heat - Heat is a form of energy that can be transferred from one object to another object.
a heat mover is a device that transfers heat from one object to another.
Heat is transferred from an one object to another because of the difference in thermal conductivity temperatures.
