Bad housekeeping will prevent customers from coming back. Good hotel housekeeping will make me want to come back!

Well, what does housekeeping do? They make sure rooms are clean, bed sheets are changed, and guests are kept satisfied, among an assortment of other things. Would you rather go to a hotel where the bed sheets were never changed, or one where there was an active staff dedicated to ensuring that the room you'll be staying at is clean?

In other words, they improve customer satisfaction, which attracts customers, which means profit.
