∙ 9y agoDepending on depth, light affects which species may be present in an aquatic ecosystem. Past a certain depth, so little light is present that photosynthetic organisms cannot exist. Light also effects how predators and prey see each other which has led to all kinds of interesting adaptations to compensate.

∙ 13y agoWell the sun helps plants grow and herbivores eat plants then carnivores eat the herbivores then when the carnivores die they get decomposed. So the sun is the starting point of the cycle. And starts all over again!
