Gravity gives an object more mass. Because it pushes the body downward towads the earth. That means if an object is put on a weighing machine it gives more mass than the actual weight. Mass is the weight of the object with gravitational force. Weight of the object is without the gravitational force.

Gravitation, or gravity, is a natural phenomenon in which objects with mass attract one another. In everyday life, gravitation is most familiar as the agent that gives weight to objects with mass and causes them to fall to the ground when dropped

Bigger mass means higher gravitational field.

The sun is bigger than the Earth, the sun has a bigger gravitational field.

The Earth is bigger than the moon, the Earth has a bigger gravitational field (about 9.8) which is why you can jump higher on the moon - less gravity
