What is an intellectual disability and how does it affect a person's everyday life?

Mentally disabled people live life in the same way that everyone else does. Just because they cannot think as well as other people does not stop them from enjoying life. Many disabled people are smart enough to have a job and support themselves. Sometimes, they need to live in a group home that helps them manage things, but usually they do OK.

There are many different mental disabilities and degrees of these disabilities. If a person has an extreme disability they may not be able to do anything for themselves and will have to rely on others to do things for them.

A mental disability is something a person is born with they are either blind or have problems with their head and caring for them is not easy they really dont know what they want i have 2 blind brothers and its not easy to take care of them but i love them to death eithier way they are

A struggle to live, to what they perceive, a normal life. But, for the family, it's an everyday struggle to help the person with the mental illness and is both a emotional and physical challenge.
