When all South Africans partake in National Braai Day each year on 24 September, figuratively speaking, the whole country is standing around the same fire, and celebrating their common heritage. By doing so, and partaking in a shared activity, mutual trust is also built amongst the various groups of people as they realise that they do have something in common with other groups.

South Africa won that World Cup, their first ever win. The team helped unite a nation with both black and white people supporting the team.
