It only helps the students who are already doing well in that class - homework is practice to help you learn more and remember what you're learning. If you don't ever have homework, you're not going to learn as well as if you practice.

Students can do sports so that they are fit which is a benefit. Also if they have homework then they can stress and not deal with things well. Also, when students are doing their homework they can get frustrated which makes the family grumpy because the student is acting grumpy. Hope this helps!!!!!
