Seafloor spreading is caused by two plates moving apart. This is caused by plate tectonics. Continental drift is also caused by plate tectonics. Therefore, we can conclude that continental drift is related in a way, to seafloor spreading. When the plates move, it carries the continents with it, and thus the continents drift away from each other.
I hope ive helped!

Alfred Wegener's support of continental drift was known as the theory of "continental drift," which proposed that the continents were once joined together as a single supercontinent called Pangaea and have since drifted apart.
Alfred Wegener introduced the theory of continental drift, which proposed that Earth's continents were once joined together as a single supercontinent called Pangea and have since moved to their current positions. This theory laid the foundation for the development of the modern theory of plate tectonics.
The single huge continent that once existed according to the continental drift theory is called Pangaea.
Alfred wegener came up with the theory of continental drift, when all of the continents were together as one the landmass was called Pangea
The scientist who proposed the theory of continental drift was Alfred Wegener, a German meteorologist and geophysicist. He suggested that the continents were once joined together in a single supercontinent called Pangea and have since moved apart to their current positions.
Wegener proposed the theory of Pangea (the supercontinent) and continental drift. Continental drift is what split Pangea apart.

the breaking down of pangea
Pangea, and it is a theory, meaning that it is proven.
Pangea separated by the theory of plate techtonics and continental drift. <3
Pangaea
The Continental Drift theory is a theory because there is no evidence to support it. Alfred Wegener developed the Continental Drift theory in the 1800's.

The theory that we used to all be one big continent (Pangea) but drifted to where we are now over hundred of milllions of years
The single huge continent that once existed according to the continental drift theory is called Pangaea.
they couldn't agree on how it separated or what made it separate.
