Scrooge sees two things. Firstly how he misses the comfort and warmth of family together at Christmas something he had not had in his very early years and also he learns about how loyal Bob is as his emplyee despite how harshly Scrooge treats him. The reaction of Mrs Cratchit brings it home to Scrooge
The Cratchits' celebration shows Scrooge the joy and love that can be found in simple moments and with limited material wealth. It teaches him the importance of family, kindness, and generosity over money and greed. Seeing their happiness opens Scrooge's heart to the true spirit of Christmas.
When Bob hails a toast to "Mr Scrooge, founder of the feast". The family, led by Mrs Cratchit are horrified as they are more than aware of how poorly Scrooge treats poor, loyal Bob and how little he pays him for the long hard hours he works
With disdain... At least until he changed his ways that is.
That even as poor as Bob and his family are they still try to remember the reason for Christmas and celebrate its meaning
After leaving the Cratchits, the ghost and Scrooge visit a mining town, a lighthouse at sea, and a ship at sea. These places show Scrooge the hardships faced by those less fortunate than him.
No, there was a Martha. She was Bob Cratchits eldest daughter
He sends it to the Cratchits.
He purchases it and sends it to Bob Cratchits home on Christmas Morning
They aren't. Now Bob Cratchit no longer has a job.
In the visit by Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Present they had a small goose with stuffing inside, some mashed potatoes, gravy, applesauce, and a plum pudding cooked in the wash pan! In reality the Cratchits would eat heartily of the enormous turkey sent them by an anonymous donor (Scrooge).
The Cratchits were outraged that Bob wanted to drink to Scrooge's health because they knew that Scrooge was underpaying Bob as well as mistreating him
He went to ask forgiveness for his behavior to his nephew Freds home and accepted his invitation to dine with them
The Cratchits' reaction revealed that they were forgiving and understanding people. Despite Scrooge's mistreatment of them, they were able to show kindness and compassion by accepting his toast with grace and humility. This highlighted their positive and empathetic demeanor.
The Cratchet family was preparing a Christmas goose, but Scrooge had the large turkey at the market delivered to them.
It was the ghost of Christmas yet to come in the cratchits house after Tiny Tim had died
It was Bob Cratchits home where Scrooge sees what Bobs family think of him and learns, whoo bob is loyal and that Tiny Tim will not see the next Christmas if "things" do not change
