Yes, Shariah is Islamic law derived from Quran and Sunnah (prophet Muhammad sayings and practice).

It is true that the Sharia law is the Islamic law but it is not to be applied by Muslims just to to lead them to Heaven. The Sharia law is classified under the following chapters:

  1. Ritual worships (praying, fasting, pilgrimage, alms giving, .....)
  2. Relarionships ( contrating rules, selling and purchasing, loans, ... etc)
  3. Personal laws (marriage, divorce, inheritance, children, ...)
  4. Crimes rules (furnication, killing, kidnaping, robbery, accusing innocent women, false witnessing, ...)

So, the Sharia law organizes human life in a way to be loyal to the Creator and fair in relations with his/her family, community, and mankind.

YES. These are two terms that are generally interchangeable. There is a slight nuance in that Shari'a is technically the word for the process leading up to the codification of Islamic Law as opposed to the actual corpus of the law, but most people (including pious Muslims) will use Shari'a to refer to the laws as well as the process for determining them.
