What other body parts does smoking affect?

Besides your lungs, your heart is also at risk when you puff smoke. There's a connection between the lungs and the heart, because when you breathe in polluted or intoxicated air, the person's cardio-respiratory system is involved. There might also be other organs which can be affected by smoking. I'm just not sure if the liver is one of those. Yes, depending on the substance that is being smoked, it can affect a person's liver. Certian smokes can also affect a person's brain, circulatory system, nervous system, respiratory system, and occasionaly the reproductive and endocrine system.

How does smoke cause cancer?

Smoking harms nearly every major organ of the body. The risk of developing smoking-related diseases, such as lung and other cancers, heart disease, stroke, and respiratory illnesses, increases with total lifetime exposure to cigarette smoke. This includes the number of cigarettes a person smokes each day, the intensity of smoking (i.e., the size and frequency of puffs), the age at which smoking began, the number of years a person has smoked, and a smoker's secondhand smoke exposure.Cancer is a tumor in which cells divide at a very fast rate. Smoking just helps this process in the lungs, throat, or even heart.

How can you tell if someone has just started to smoke?

You can automatically tell if a person has just recently begun to smoke if he or she coughs, has droopy eyes, looks tired, or if his or her skin is not as radiant as usual. the first time a person smokes, coughing is consistant until the person becomes acustumed to the smell and taste. if a person has been smoking for a long period of time, then he or she may experience lung problems, heart problems, and breathing problems. smoking takes a major toll on a person's physicall appearance. wrinkles begin to appear, eyes become deluted, lips become dryer, and hair and nails become discolored. breathe also begins to smell bad. these things may or may not occur in a fast period of time; every person reacts to smoking differently.
