Best Answer

Energy from the sun (light, heat) is created during the neuclear progress of converting hydrogen into helium in the core of the sun.

The sun currently contain 75% hydrogen and 25% helium. The sun will continue to burn until the hydrogen has been converted into helium.

The nuclear fusion which takes place result in loss of mass which is converted into energy. The energy is carried to the surface of sun and expelled into the solar system.

Plants get their energy from the Sun.

Explain how heterotroph get their energy from the Sun even though they cannot make their own food?

Heterotrophs get their energy from the sun indirectly. This because they eat autotrophs who make their energy using the sun.

Where do plants get the energy to make food?

Photosynthesis is the act of trapping the light energy from the sun and turning it into chemical energy in the molecule starch. The energy it traps comes from high energy photons.

Why is the sun important to both producers and consumers?

producers make energy from the sun and then consumers eat the producers, ex: a plant (producer) uses photosynthesis and the sun to make energy then a bunny (consumer) eats the plant for energy. so the sun is the source of energy

the sun

Where does the energy needed by plant to make food come from?

From the sun. It's solar energy

What use the sun to make sugar?

Plants use the sun's energy to make sugar. During photosynthesis, chemical energy is stored in the fruits, grains, and vegetables made by the sun's energy. Chemical energy in this case is a food made by the sun. In this whole process, light energy is being converted into chemical energy.

What happen to the sun energy during photosynthesis?

In photosynthesis energy from the sun gets used to make food(sugar)
