Homoeostas is the ability of the body or a cell to seek and maintain a condition of equilibrium or stability within its environment when dealing with external changes.

When you are too hot the body produces sweating which helps the body maintain a cooler temperature. The evaporation of sweat from the skin provides a cooling action which is called evaporative cooling.

Evaporation is the process of turning from liquid to vapour. It needs heat (or lower pressure) to do this. So as the sweat evaporates it absorbs heat. So providing a cooling effect

Note that dogs can't sweat ... they cool themselves by hanging out their long tongues and panting. This causes evaporation of the saliva from the tongue and draws in the cooled air to cool the body!

You and your body maintain homeostasis by . sweating breathing eating and drinking all of the above?

All of the above. Sweating regulates body temperature, breathing provides oxygen and removes carbon dioxide, and eating and drinking provide nutrients and energy for bodily functions. Together, these processes help maintain the body's internal balance and ensure proper functioning.

What are some other examples of how feedback mechanisms help maintain homeostasis?

Digestive system regulating blood glucose levels, sweating to regulate body temperature, and release of insulin to regulate blood sugar are other examples of feedback mechanisms that help maintain homeostasis in the body.

What are ways that humans maintain homeostasis?

The human body maintains homeostasis because homeostasis is the maintenance of stable internal conditions in a changing environment. individual cells ,must maintain homeostasis in order to live.- information from *Amaz!nqq Shorty*

How do the changes help the body adjust to maintain homeostasis?

The human body is an exquisite machine, partly because it maintains functionality in a variety of environments. Humans can thrive in conditions ranging from the arctic to the equator, and with a variety of diets and lifestyles. Part of the reason for this adaptability is the body's ability to maintain homeostasis.

What help maintain homeostasis in cells does not require energy?

Passive transport processes, such as diffusion and osmosis, help maintain homeostasis in cells without requiring energy. These processes allow molecules to move across the cell membrane from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration, helping to balance the internal environment of the cell.

How does sweating help humans maintain a constant body temperature?

When our bodies get heated, we sweat, and when we sweat, our skin absorbs the moisture and cools us off again.
