The Orchid has some of the best Chinese food in the state. That's the Chinese restaurant I'd go to. The Silver Palace Chinese restaurant is the place you want to be. You won't be dissapointed.

I like to go to yelp.com, or use a map search function to find Chinese (and all) restaurants near me. I just type in 'chinese restaurant' and my zip code into a search bar and it shows me all of them in my location. Then, you can click on each marker to see reviews.
Go out to a restaurant, and bake a cake for your mother. :)

Yes, I would contact a restaurant retailer such as McCormick restaurant supply. Before you go, I would call to make sure that they have the product you wish to purchase in stock at that location.

I suggest you start looking for ethnic restaurants in your area. You should be able to search these on the internet. When I go to an ethnic restaurant, I try to choose a place where there are a lot of customers who are from that country. For example, if you want to taste good Indian food, chances are that if there are many Indians eating in that restaurant, their food is authentic Indian cuisine. Try not to go to a Chinese restaurant where you can not find Chinese people eating there. Chances are that the food being served there is not authentic Chinese food.
