In the end the clappers that Lev joins decide to blow up the unwinding factory that Connor and Risa are in and when Lev finds out he tries to rescue them but just as Connor is about to be unwound the clappers blow up everything and blow Connors legs and 1 arm up and Risa is paralysed from the waist down but sence disabled kids can't be unwound they are safe and do not get other body parts from unwounds but because Connor was unconcious when the clappers blew up he could not tell them to not get an unwinds arm which happened to be Rolands arm. Plus once the explosive fluid is drained out of Lev he decides not to become unwound so Lev,Risa, and the new leader of the Graveyard Connor continued to help the kids not get unwound.
