Offspring from sexual reproduction have combined DNA from each of their parents. They are varied, as in a mixture of both parents. Example: if two bean plants, one tall and one short, sexually reproduce, the genotype will be Tt and offspring will most likely be tall (phenotype).

Offspring from asexual reproduction does not vary. It is an exact copy of its parent organism, a clone, if you will. Example: If a short bean plant--a complete bean plant--asexually reproduces, it will have a genotype tt, (phenotype short) offspring that looks identical to it.

I'm in 7th grade Biology right now, and we learned this in December. Hope I helped!:)

An asexual reproduction offspring is like a clone to the parent because it has the same genes as the parent. A sexual reproduction offspring comes from two parents, so the genes are combined and the offspring has some traits from its mother and one from its father

Those created by asaexual reproduction are basically clones of their parent, and can form out of autosommal cells. Those created from sexual repoduction present variability and form out of the fusion of 2 germinative cells.

Asexually produced offspring are genetically identical to the parent. Sexually produced offspring are the product of both their parent's genes. Depending on the amount of genetic
variation in the parents the offspring be obviously like one parent or dissimilar to either.
Appearance is the phenotype. Genotype is the entire genetic makeup of the individual and 50% comes from each parent.

Asexual offspring's are clones of the parent and carry only the parents genes. Sexual reproduction producesoffspring from both parents and have the genes of each parent.

Do sexual and asexual reproduction compare?

Asexual: the offspring has a single parent.Sexual: the offspring has two parents (combining some chromosomes from each parent). In asexual reproduction, as long as there are no mutations, the offspring are identical to the parents; in sexual reproduction, they are not.

Asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction differ in all but what ways?

Asexual reproduction is the process in which a single cell or set of cells produces offspring that inherit all their genetic material from one parent and sexual reproduction needs two parents to produce offspring, the offspring inherits genetic material from both parents.

What is asexual reproduction versus sexual reproduction?

Asexual reproduction is basically the act of an organism making an exact copy of itself without the help of another organism, while sexual reproduction is the act of two organisms crossing their genetics to create offspring.

What is the difference between sexual and asexual reproduction plants?

Sexual reproduction includes the fusion of gametes during the production of offspring. Asexual reproduction produces new offspring without the fusion of gametes.

What are the different forms of sexual reproduction?

Reproduction is divided into sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction is a form of cloning where all offspring are exactly the same. The genes are mixed in sexual reproduction and the result is a completely unique individual.

Which mode of reproduction produces offspring that is genetically unique?

Sexual reproduction

What is an advantage of sexual reproduction over asexual reproduction by fission?

Variability of offspring.

What are the differencess between asexual and sexual reproduction?

Asexual reproduction occurs with only one parent and produces identical offspring. Sexual reproduction requires two parents and produces genetically different offspring.

What does sexual and asexual reproduction have in common?

Sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction both result in offspring. Sexual reproduction involves two parents, while asexual reproduction involves one parent (usually a cell) splitting and creating a duplicate of itself.

Does sexual or asexual reproduction result in variations of the offspring?

Yes

Would you get a variety of offspring traits during asexual or sexual reproduction?

Sexual reproduction promotes variation.

What are the differences between offspring form by sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction?

Offspring formed by sexual reproductions use both parents' genetic material that differs from the parents. Offspring formed by asexual reproduction is formed by a single parent and is identical to the parent.
