depends on who you ask but their is 2 points of view yes and no
-yes because it is what your body uses to pull on to move your body
-no because muscles do all the work
so it basically depends on how you want to think about it
Muscles keep bones in place and also play a role in the movement of bones. To allow motion, different bones are connected by joints.
When the muscle contracts, one of the structures usually remains stationary, while the other moves. The following terms refer to this characteristic of muscle contraction. When muscles contract, the pull (P), or force, of muscle contraction is applied to levers, such as bones, resulting in movement of the levers.
A lever is a rigid shaft capable of turning about a hinge, or pivot point, called a fulcrum (F) and transferring a force applied at one point along the lever to a weight (W), or resistance, placed at another point along the lever. The joints function as fulcrums, the bones function as levers, and the muscles provide the pull to move the levers.
the muscular system provides movement to the skeleton the muscular system provides movement to the skeleton
The skeleton is the rigid frame to which flexible tissue [muscle] is attached. Contraction and expansion of this tissue moves the joints in this frame.
skeletal system helps in moving,it give body a specific shape, the muscles contract and relax due to this contraction and relaxation our body moves.

skeletal allows movement. No system allows movement of organs LOL
The skeleton.
The Muscular System supports the body and allows it to move.
