There are hundreds of miles of mountains between Utah and the coast. There is only one event that could trigger a tsunami large enough to cross mountains: a missive impact from an asteroid or comet. But such an event has not happened in at least 65 million years and I'd bet a great deal that one will not happen in our lifetime.
