Manufactures never state how far their guns shoot, they just say several hundred yards. The reason they say this is several factors are in play like the power source and pellet weight. Air guns power sources can be pump, Co2, Spring or PerCharged Pneumatic. (More about PCP's later) pellets also come in different weights and shapes. A light pellet can travel very fast and far but is not as accurate as a heavy pellet that flys slower and straighter and has more impact.
PCP are the most powerful air guns around. They are capable of firing a pellet twice as far as a regular airgun. These guns/rifles require a special pump or Scuba tank to charge them to 2000 to 3000 PSI. They also can fire a 50 caliber pellet. When they fire a .177 pellet they can be deadly up to 1/2 mile or further.
You need to consult your owner's manual. Some BB guns can shoot pellets, but some cannot.
Impossible to answer without knowing the caliber.
No. Bad Idea! BB's a .177 in size not .22
The classic Red Ryder is a BB gun that shoots metal .177 caliber BBs.
Any air gun or rifle that uses a .177 Caliber pellet can use the Gamo .177 Red Fire Pellet. No matter who makes the air gun. The Caliber .177 is universal to all .177 caliber pellet guns or rifles.
No,because bb's are a standard .22 caliber;witch means a .177 caliber rifle would have to have a .177 caliber bb.I don't believe any company would make the bb any smaller,do to supply and demand reasons of cost to produce one.~Jason Actually Jason, the diameter of BB's, is .175,, this is to allow the projectile to fit "loosely" enough in the barrel so as to not jam. Most .177 cal air rifles WILL NOT shoot BB's. ^^Frank
Cal .177
.177 is the more common calibre, so if availability is an issue, that may be something to take into consideration.
No way to answer without knowing if you are talking about blackpowder, rim fire or centerfire
No. Shoot only the caliber printed on the barrel.
.177 BB Cal
It depends on the model and the caliber of the Pellet gun.
